Our Spirits
Murrell's Row Spirits is a distillery focused on crafting botanical spirits. Naturally, the foundation of our distillery will always be gin and amaro.
According to the law, gin is a juniper flavored vodka, and it can have any combination of fruits, herbs, spices, and vegetables as part of the botanical build.
Amaro is a sweetened botanical liqueur made from distillation and maceration of many high quality botanicals.
Gin and amaro making is all about the quality of ingredients and a balance of flavors.
Gin and amaro are interesting spirits to create because of the freedom to explore flavors and ingredients.

GinGin is our take on a "London Dry Style" Gin. GinGin is crafted for juniper lovers like us! It is pot distilled in small batches with lots of juniper which gives it a full bodied yet classic profile.
Five botanicals makeup GinGin: juniper, coriander, lemon, angelica root, and celery seeds. The high quality juniper coming from multiple sources offers fruit and pine notes. The organic lemon peels and coriander complement the juniper. Angelica root and celery seed add an earthy foundation and depth of flavor. Sitting at 94 proof, GinGin will be a perfect fit for any of your favorite gin cocktails. Every bar needs a workhorse gin that can fit into any recipe.
Tulsi Gin is a "New World Style" gin that was designed to stand out and shine in a cocktail. It marries the beautiful aromatics of the tulsi basil plant and the complexity of a gin botanical build.
Tulsi basil, also known as Holy Basil, has notes of clove and spice, while also having fruity blueberry and fresh herbaceous notes. It truly is a wonderful and special plant with a storied history that dates back over 3000 years. All of our tulsi basil is grown by local farmers. The Tulsi Gin recipe is designed from eight botanicals : tulsi basil, green cardamom, lemon, coriander, angelica root, grains of paradise, and, of course, juniper. Being a "New World Style" gin, the juniper flavor takes a back seat to the floral, fruity, citrus, and herbaceous notes. At 94 proof, the flavors will not be washed out in a cocktail. The holy basil and green cardamom aromatics will pop with some citrus. The aromatics will jump right out of the bottle and into your favorite cocktail. Try it in a gimlet. Try a TNT (Tulsi and Tonic). Tulsi Gin and lemonade are best friends. People have even been known to take it as a shot! Tulsi Gin might just change the way you think about gin.
Eno Amaro is about balance, a culmination of lovingly and painstakingly chosen ingredients to create something singular. Eno Amaro is a bittersweet botanical liqueur. This Georgia-made amaro is inspired by a classic, homemade cola recipe. 19 botanicals go into making a batch of Eno Amaro. Orange, lemon, and lime peels are macerated and distilled to give Eno bright aromatics. Baking spices such as clove, allspice, star anise, and whole vanilla beans bring warmth and sweetness. Hyssop adds a herbaceous, grassy note. Rhubarb root adds a deep earthy backbone. Gentian root and bitter orange peel bitterness balance the sweetness from the organic cane sugar. Wild cherry bark adds just an extra touch of a woody, cola note. With distillation, maceration, and time all these different flavors marry to make the balanced, approachable flavor of Eno.
At 60 proof, Eno Amaro was designed to have a bittersweet balance that won't overpower a cocktail. Try it with bourbon or rum. It's great added to a manhattan or an espresso martini. Experiment with a different kind of negroni or boulevardier. Enjoy Eno in a cocktail or enjoy it by itself. It's perfect after a meal as a digestif, or before a meal with some soda and a squeeze of lemon. Enjoy Eno with friends or enjoy Eno by yourself. Amaro, like life, is about embracing duality.
With our strong gin and amaro foundation set, we can start building and creating special edition, small batch, and seasonal products. It's hard to not be inspired by our local Georgia farms and their incredible harvests. Occasionally we have the opportunity to capture Georgia terroir in a bottle and deliver it to you as our "Once or More than Once" line of spirits. Grab them while you can - they never last long!
Gin Mignonette
Gin Mignonette, with its salinity and subtle sweetness, is meant to be made into a martini and paired with oysters. Minerality, earthiness, and brine make the dirty martini and oyster pairing feel natural. So we created a savory gin to enhance and marry the flavors of a dirty martini and a Gibson .
Gin Mignonette has a core gin botanical build of juniper, toasted coriander, angelica root, and lemon peel. Olive oil adds beautiful olive notes and mouthfeel. Bay leaf and Georgia Vidalia Onions add savory and sweet notes to the gin. Yes! We put olive oil and onions into the still, and it's delicious! You can't make a mignonette without a little salt and pepper. Pink sea salt adds minerality to the gin, while cubeb berries add a floral black pepper note.
Of course, Mignonette is perfect for a martini, but it works really well with a Salty Dog. Splash a little bit of sherry into your next Mignonette and tonic for a savory twist on the classic cocktail.
We love our oyster farmers and the oysters grown in the south. That is why we are donating a portion of the sale of every bottle of Mignonette to Oyster South. Oyster South is a non-profit that strives to lift up and empower Southern Oyster Farmers and the community that surrounds them.
JamJam Gin
Our products would never be as special as they are without talented, passionate farmers. Our first holy basil plant came from Love is Love Farm which led to the creation of Tulsi Gin. Our first special edition product, JamJam Gin, is designed around the peak season strawberries grown by Love is Love Farm in Mansfield, Ga.
JamJam Gin starts with hundreds of pounds of strawberries distilled and used as part of the botanical build. The distilled strawberries add not only a unique flavor but also a silky body to the gin. Lemon verbena, thyme, and lemon peel complement the bright, fruity strawberry. Pineberries add a tropical fruit aromatic. Juniper berries, coriander, and angelica make up the gin backbone of JamJam. This gin is packed with peak season Georgia strawberries, so get it when you can.
